California Mixed Media Artist
The digitally based artwork that creates the backdrop, base element for this encaustic collage is entitled 'A Taste Of Healing' and the curation for that work is as follows.
This piece was created with healing in mind. It was meant to help the person it was created for move forward with grace, ease and elegance. It was created to bring healing to the eyes and hips. Elements for the healing of both are incorporated into the piece. Herbs, semi precious stone, elements from feng shui, color and images to help hold the intention of how this person would like to be... dancing like a ballerina with grace and power. Prayers are written and layered into the lips for only words of healing. Ho'oponopono prayer is also layered into the mix. Ho'oponopono means to make right. Essentially, it means to make it right with the ancestors, or to make right with the people with whom you have relationships. I have incorporated a total mix of modalities in making this piece with the primary intention of bringing a shift and healing to the intended person and all they are connected too.
Enjoy The Cosmic Taste of Healing! Peace Out!!!
This 3D encaustic collage painting illustrates the elements of healing in a random explosion that appears to be chaos, but is truly the cosmic dance of healing at work. This artwork measures 39" x 34" x 3" and weighs 13 lbs.
I consider this work transformational energy art, because of the energetic properties and their ability to shift vibrations.
Lips that speak only positive words of love, peace, joy and healing; based upon the Hado work and research of Dr. Masaru Emoto. Jade, quartz, amethyst and moonstone are incorporated for their healing properties. Yellow and red yarrow used for their healing properties are mixed with the elements of feng shui including, gold coins, frogs, bamboo, roosters, victory horse and more. Prayers, affirmations and positive words are layered in at a soft resolution for their energetic properties. Some are seen and others are unseen, but their power is there. The ballerinas leaping and the eyes seeing clearly are all symbolic of the hips, eyes and bodies moving forward in joy, freedom and health.
