Artist Statement

At its core, my artwork merges science and spirituality for its aesthetic beauty and energetic properties.  I consider it transformational, energy art, created to positively influence the viewer and environment. All of my work is created for uplifting places and spaces.  I think my style of art has one foot in many boxes (expressionism, surrealism, abstraction); it’s a modern twist on conceptual, in that it does take aesthetics into account, but the energetic properties and meaning take priority in the creation. I’m an artist that has danced through many different mediums through out my life and around the world, and I mean that literally.  I began as a Dance and Theatre major receiving a BA from CSUC. Throughout the 90’s traveling as a model, actress and fitness personality gave me the opportunity to collect concepts and ideas abroad and incorporate them into my work. My love of yoga in this lifetime developed in the 90’s.  I feel blessed I was able to introduce it to the western world through the fitness shows on ESPN (BodyShaping and Co-Ed Training).  I envisioned the positive impact yoga would have on the western world and we are blessed to have that become realized. The elements and great minds of influence upon me include: yoga, feng shui, crystals, grids, meditation, prayer, affirmations, semi precious stones, Kabbalah, Dr Masaru Emoto, Mother Theresa, Louise L. Hay, Wayne Dyer, Doreen Virtue, Deepak Chopra, Esther and Jerry Hicks, Malcom Gladwell, Eckhart Tolle, Paramahansa Yogananda, Jesus Christ, Carolyn Myss, Buddha and the Dalai Lama.
